Dear members; Option B: Facing Adversity, Building Resilience, and Finding Joy, Reviews Book by Adam Grant and Sheryl Sandberg I just watched this interview, and I was so moved that I believe if even a fraction of the emotion that I witnessed in that interview is conveyed in the pages of this book, this book will be one of the most poignant tomes I will have ever read. I think we need to add this to our reading list, and I hope you agree. Please let me know your thoughts, and I will be sure to relay mine, I think this could be interesting. Thank you for your time. Dear members; We all have them, those everyday bug a boos, days that are more than a little bit challenging, moments when you wish you were not so ladylike, and 'lord why did I get out of bed' days. Perhaps your at work, or in the grocery, maybe at the gym, at school, or your favorite boutique, struggling at one of those godforsaken self serve petrol stations, sitting on an airplane, or in the theater, worse yet your attempting to drive on a decidedly un-drivable street, what ever the catalyst, one overwhelming thought occurs to you, the person, or people, or entity, you are presently being forced to interact with, are frankly 'To Stupid for Life', but of course you, charming well mannered creature that you were raised to be, having, unlike your current nemesis, not been raised by wolves, you dear member are far to well bred to say out loud what is so patently clear ( after all 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'). This space dear Goddess is for you to release all that pent up angst that can be so debilitating to the constitution. Take a long deep breath and let it 'Rip', I promise the release will set you free, and hopefully allow you to clear out all the pent up anger, frustration, and just plain pissed off feelings you would normally smile and repress, because truly do you really want to look like one of those totally tasteless classless, reality show denizens, I think not. So feel free. Here in this space, there will be no judgement, as a matter of fact I am disabling the commenting function in this forum. You can indulge in a good old fashion screaming, kicking, red faced tantrum, otherwise known as a 'Rant', and we your fellow sisterhood will feel your pain,rest assured you will be heard, while you dear goddess can resume being the fabulously generous and gracious person we all know you to be !
